Police have launched an investigation immediately after what seems to be human feces were found in a shipment of cans delivered to a facility in Northern Ireland.

Local authorities confirmed Tuesday that they were looking into how feces ended up in a batch of its products at the Hellenic Bottling Company in Lisburn, production was abruptly shut down when the machines were clogged by said poop.

The Atlanta-based soda behemoth impounded all the affected cans and said none of its products on shelves were contaminated.

“The incident is subject to an investigation by the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) and the environmental health unit of Lisburn and Castlereagh city council,” said the Food Standards Agency.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland told The Guardian, “The investigation is at an early stage and there are no further details available at this time.”
